Terms and Conditions

All you have to do to stand a chance to win is:
1. Answer the weekly quiz every Friday on one of the Talk360 social media pages (Instagram: talk360_za, Facebook: Talk360: Low-cost International Calls (ZA), and Twitter: Talk360za).
2. Simply leave your answer in the comment section of the post.
3. Winners will be selected randomly and announced every Monday in the comment section and on our stories on Instagram and Facebook.
These official rules apply to the Talk360 #FreeCreditFridays Competition (“Competition”), sponsored and administered by Talk360 South Africa (“Sponsor”). By entering, you are deemed to have read, accepted, and agreed to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of Talk360 South Africa, which shall be final and binding on all matters relating to this content.
COMPETITION PERIOD
This Competition is valid from the 21st of June and will recur weekly, on Fridays till the end of the year in 2024. Ts & Cs apply.
ELIGIBILITY
This competition is open to all persons in South Africa only, aged 18 years and older and excluding Talk360 South Africa employees, their advertising agencies, sales agents and their immediate families. Companies and/or other organisations are not eligible to participate in the Competition. Employees, contractors, directors and officers of Talk360 South Africa and its affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, retailers and advertising, promotion and judging agencies and all other service agencies and providers involved with the Competition, and members of the immediate family (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and households of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate or win. Void where prohibited by law. Should you have won a prize from this brand or any other brand in the Talk360 South Africa stable in the last six (6) months, you will not be selected as a winner in this competition.
PARTICIPATION
Alias accounts will not be accepted, and nor will entries on behalf of another person. All entrants need to enter via a legitimate social media profile and Talk360 account on behalf of themselves. The use of automated and/or manual techniques, devices, and mechanisms including but not limited to software, code, or any other systems that circumvent and/or abate the proper conduct and purpose of this Competition, whether intentional or otherwise, is prohibited. Reasonable establishment on the use of multiple accounts, aliases or other identification to submit multiple comments suffices to raise the ineligibility of participants to win a Prize. Participants may NOT upload any comments, contents, images, emoticons, and/or any other media containing material that is of pornographic nature, illegal, defamatory, threatening, obscene, harmful to minors, promoting racism, hatred, discrimination of any kind, and/or is against any applicable standards or guidelines of Talk360 South Africa. Such comments will be disqualified, and entrants banned from the competition.
Talk360 South Africa will not take responsibility for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
PRIZES
R150 worth of call credits will be given to one lucky winner each week. One lucky winner will be selected randomly and announced on Mondays. All eligible entries will be selected and entered into an online random winner generator tool to determine the winning entry.
An eligible entry would come from any individual who has answered the question correctly in the comments section of any of the relevant #FreeCreditFriday posts. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered in any event arising out of any circumstances whatsoever.
WINNER SELECTION, NOTIFICATION AND REDEMPTION OF PRIZES
The winners will be contacted on Mondays after the competition entries closing date, which is Sunday at 23:59 weekly. Any comments posted after Sunday at 23:59 will not be eligible. Winners will be tagged and sent a message via their inbox, where they will be required to share their phone number for the Talk360 calling app and the prize will be shared with them. Failure to be contacted within a 1-week period will result in forfeits of the call credit prize, and Talk360 South Africa will not be held liable for any winner that provides incomplete or incorrect details.
The judges’ decision on all matters arising out of the competition will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner agrees to have their name posted on the Talk 360 South Africa social media page(s) without compensation.
INTERNET
Talk360 Africa is not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software, cable, satellite, Internet Service Provider (ISP) or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures or delays in computer transmissions or network connections. Talk360 South Africa is not responsible for any errors whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to, or in connection with, the Competition including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Competition, the announcement of the Prizes, or in any Competition-related materials. Talk360 South Africa reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual, and void his or her participation, who tampers with the Competition process.
RIGHT TO CANCEL, TERMINATE, MODIFY OR SUSPEND
Subject to applicable laws, Talk360 South Africa may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify, suspend, or re-run the Competition and withhold the Prize(s), including without limitation, if there are insufficient eligible participants or for any reason, or any aspect of this Competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the control of Talk360 South Africa, except as provided for in the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008.
In the event the Competition is cancelled or terminated, Talk360 South Africa reserves the right to conduct a random draw from among all eligible participants. In the event of such an occurrence, Talk360 South Africa may post a notice on their social media page(s). Talk360 South Africa shall have the right to at its sole discretion and without notice (i) modify these Official Rules and/or (ii) extend the Submission Period at its sole discretion.
PRIVACY
Talk360 South Africa adheres to the legal parameters regarding legal privacy in South Africa. By participating, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of administering this Competition and awarding the Prize(s) i.e. If you get selected as a winner, you will be required to share your name and surname and it will be posted on our social media pages under the competition winners highlight reel.
RELEASE
By participating, and to the extent permitted by applicable laws, you agree: (a) to release Talk360 South Africa and any third-party retained by or on behalf of Talk360 South Africa for the purposes of executing and administering the Competition and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, distributors, sales representatives, distributors, advertising, promotion and judging agencies and all other service agencies and providers involved with this Competition and each of their officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to their participation in the Competition and the awarding, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any Prize; and (b) that under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain awards for, and they hereby waive all rights to claim, any punitive, incidental, consequential or other damages including, but not limited to attorneys’ fees or other court costs, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses. Any waiver of any obligation hereunder by Talk360 South Africa does not constitute a general waiver of any obligation to participants. By participating in the Competition, you agree that your participation is gratuitous and made without restriction and will not place Talk360 South Africa under any obligation.
GOVERNING LAW
This Competition is governed by, subject to and is to be interpreted, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
GENERAL TERMS
Talk360 Ltd will not be held responsible for any delays in the delivery of the prizes, nor errors on the part of the information provided by competition winners. This offer is exclusive to Talk360.
